We all know divorce has become common over the last several decades. Although there may be certain factors associated with divorce that are negative, at least women (and men) today can divorce a spouse and move on to achieve a healthy, happy and thriving future. I’ve missed you, dear Escapees! So, you may have noticed I’ve been gone for a month. At least, I hope you have 🙂 and you know what? I’ve been doing relaxing stuff; eating juicy peaches, smelling the roses, walking on the beach, seeing my kids, loving summer like it’s my last one. But now it’s time to get back to routine. Do you feel it, too? The fresh, cooler air blowing in, the golden hue to the early morning sunlight? It’s all telling me it’s time to go back….maybe not back to school but back to work and all that entails—writing and blogging!
It’s that time. Time for a summer break. I’ll be taking the month of August off from blogging. I’ll still be around the social media a bit and hope to visit some blogs while on break. Not long ago, the word Chakra came onto my radar. How did it come up? Well, the store I worked in sold jewelry related to our Chakras.
For example, there is a troll bead (as seen in this image) to represent each Chakra. Trollbeads are glass beads that are designed to be worn on bracelet or necklace.

Last year I celebrated my 50th spin around the sun and the number still stuns me, just a little. So, any-who, men have been doing it since the dawn of time. They’ve been enjoying the beauty of much younger women. To the older woman’s vexation, it’s perfectly acceptable—a feather in his cap.

I wouldn’t have ever thought someone would ask me for tips on keeping the household organized during divorce 😉 They obviously don’t know me, right? Well, to be fair I did learn a thing or two about correcting some of my own disorganization during divorce. I guess I am qualified to write this post, after all.

So, a while back I posted Lisa’s Divorce Movie Countdown. It was very well received so I thought it was time for a tv version.
It’s always great to discover a new show that makes you laugh and cry but mostly one that you can relate to the characters so much that you feel they’re living your story. Okay, I haven’t found a divorce show quite as good as all that but I have found some that are pretty realistic and entertaining at the same time.
