Sharing…a poem today. Still on this winter theme…the snow is gone now and the sun is trying to shine.

Of My Winter

The snow it crunched beneath his boots
I stood staring at the valley
Grey sky clouding my mind
I smiled at him and said,
“You told me you would come in winter.”
He reached across my brittle heart
Lay his arms around my soul
He kissed me,
Light as a feather
Taking away the chill
Of my winter
Snowflakes they fell
Melting a teardrop
You can’t keep me
He said he’d climb into my deepest valley
To find me under the frozen tundra
Of my winter.

Swoon! I really hate winter. Really hate it. I do love Cassidy’s warm body at night, though. It definitely takes away the chill.

Thank you, Contessa! LOL 😛 😛 :P. I may have been in my pajamas as I sometimes get up in the wee hours and write.

Yes, our new residents Megs and Harry. She is gorgeous and looks happier already. It was a BOLD move by Harry. Do you follow them on Instagram? That would be a good way to keep up with them.
